It's Fairtastic (yes, that is really the slogan for the state fair this year)

It's thirty-four days, eleven hours and ten minutes until the Ohio State Fair swings open its gates!

I'm glad to say that Dayton artists will be represented in the pavilion including: Francis Schanberger, Amy Kollar-AndersonRick Jurus, and Lloyd Greene.  Go Gem City! I'll be showing "Fun in the Sun" and "Twelve Little Mistakes."

Butter not miss this!

My two Convenient Landscape grids as well as one version of The Fog are currently on view at the Ohio State Fair. The show is up Jun 28 - Aug 8 - 9am-9pm daily (Aug 8th 9am-8pm) in the Fine Arts Pavilion. Francis has work on display as well - folks you don't wanna miss it!

There are also corndogs, butter sculptures, bizarre chickens, dogs doing tricks and bags of kettle corn as big as a couch (okay maybe not that big). The state fair is a wonderful place.
